For the private operators of the waterbombers the investment in a SCODEV scooping device is almost inevitable. They could charge a double hourly fee to the forest management entities and the cost per dropping still would be half. Once one operator has invested, the other private operators need to do the same.

Thanks to the worldwide 20-year patent Scodev International will be able to follow its strategy. It intends to have the SCODEV manufactured under license by Sonaca, a Tier-one aircraft-part manufacturer and then mounted on board of the airtankers.

Scodev International will manage promotion and marketing, sales and after-sales in Europe. On other continents sales will be assigned to dedicated agents. Inspection and maintenance will be carried out by certified aviation maintenance companies, one on each continent.
